# Appendix Capture — Your Week Inside Town

_Fill the slots below from your actual usage. Each slot feeds a specific claim in the memo — precision beats volume. Skip any you can't answer honestly; the memo degrades gracefully._

## A. Onboarding (you said "insanely good" — make it quotable)
- **A1.** Minutes from signup → first genuinely impressive moment. What WAS that moment (the auto-biography? a suggested action?):
- **A2.** What accounts did it make you connect before letting you in (email? calendar? others?):
- **A3.** First 3–5 proactive actions it offered you, verbatim-ish:
- **A4.** One thing onboarding did that you'd hold up as best-in-class vs. anything else you've used:

## B. Credit mechanics (the memo's core evidence — be exact)
- **B1.** Which tier are you on (Free / Power / Power Plus)? If paid: monthly $ and credits included:
- **B2.** What visibly consumes credits? (each chat? automation runs? background/proactive actions? research briefs?):
- **B3.** Did you ever see your credit balance and change behavior — hesitate, save credits, avoid an experiment? Describe the exact moment (this is the "taximeter effect" anecdote — most valuable slot in this file):
- **B4.** How many credits/chats did you burn before you understood what the product could do?
- **B5.** Did you hit the Free cap (~30 chats)? On what day? What did you do next?

## C. Path to first automation (the activation funnel — their 99% retention event)
- **C1.** Have you built an automation yet? (If no — build one before sending; Appendix B depends on it)
- **C2.** How did you discover automations existed — suggestion engine, menu hunting, docs?
- **C3.** Sessions/days from signup → first automation:
- **C4.** Did building or testing the automation itself consume credits? How many, roughly?
- **C5.** What almost stopped you (confusion, credit worry, unclear value)?

## D. Appendix B — the automation you build for the memo
Pick something BizOps-flavored so the artifact is self-referential ("I ran the BizOps playbook on Town, in Town"). Candidates, best first:
1. **Credit-spend digest** — automation that logs/summarizes your own credit consumption weekly (if Town can see its own usage data; meta and on-thesis)
2. **Vendor-renewal watcher** — scans inbox for SaaS renewal/invoice emails, builds a running vendor-spend table (mirrors JD project #3)
3. **Recruiting-pipeline triage** — flags emails from candidates/applicants and drafts responses (mirrors a real Town ops need at 25→50 people)
- **D1.** Which one you built + screenshot paths:
- **D2.** What it cost in credits to build + run:
- **D3.** One sentence on what surprised you building it:

## E. Color (one or two lines each, optional)
- **E1.** The single moment Town felt like the future:
- **E2.** The single moment it felt like a demo:
- **E3.** If you could change one thing about pricing as a USER (not as an analyst):
