# Idea Foundry Workflow

Idea Foundry is a three-gate writing workflow. Run the skills in order.

## 1. Idea Intake

Use [idea-intake](/Users/darshshah/Documents/Darsh's Vault/plugins/idea-foundry/skills/idea-intake/SKILL.md) first on any raw topic, clipping, or possible post idea.

Expected output:
- `IN LANE + ANCHORED`
- `IN LANE BUT NEEDS ANCHOR`
- `IN LANE WITH REFRAMING`
- `BORDERLINE`
- `OUT OF LANE`

Only move forward when the topic is in lane and anchored, or when there is a concrete one-week anchor plan.

## 2. Credibility Scaffold

Use [credibility-scaffold](/Users/darshshah/Documents/Darsh's Vault/plugins/idea-foundry/skills/credibility-scaffold/SKILL.md) after a topic clears intake.

Expected output:
- A claim map
- A `do not claim` section
- Upgrade opportunities
- A narrow research or application plan if needed

Do not draft before the claim map exists.

## 3. Draft Gate

Use [draft-gate](/Users/darshshah/Documents/Darsh's Vault/plugins/idea-foundry/skills/draft-gate/SKILL.md) after the claim map is done.

Expected output:
- `DRAFT IT`
- `TIGHTEN`
- `GO APPLY`
- `PARK`
- `DROP`

This gate is the hard stop against both premature drafting and endless research.

## Working Rule

The system should narrow ideas, not make them feel more elaborate. If a topic keeps failing to sharpen, kill it.
